Main responsibilities
- Organization and control of technological processes on pilot industrial equipment when scaling the technology for producing new active pharmaceutical substances using fine organic synthesis methods
- Maintaining technological documentation in accordance with the instructions: scaling protocols for pilot series, production protocols for start-up production series, reports on pilot scale-up
- Participation in the development of a strategy for scaling up laboratory schemes for the synthesis of active pharmaceutical substances in larger devices
- Clarification and adjustment of the developed material balances of technological processes based on the results of pilot industrial scaling
- Clarification and adjustment of start-up regulations for the production of new active pharmaceutical ingredients in terms of description of technological stages based on the results obtained during scaling up
- Accounting and clarification of consumption rates for raw materials and materials
- Summing up the results of work on scaling laboratory synthesis schemes, making decisions based on the research carried out
- Monitoring compliance by production personnel of the pilot industrial sector with rules and regulations on labor protection, fire and environmental safety, industrial sanitation, technological discipline and GMP rules
- Organization of work and training of personnel in the experimental industrial sector
Our expectations
- Higher education in the following areas: chemistry, chemical technology, pharmaceutical production technology
- Knowledge of the basics of chemical technology and skills in working with industrial equipment for the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients or other chemical substances of complex organic structure
- Knowledge of the chemical principles of the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients by multi-stage organic synthesis
- Knowledge of the rules for organizing production and quality control of medicinal products (GMP) and the ability to apply them
- Mandatory - MS Office, Aspen HYSYS (process modeling) - desirable
- English (reading documentation), desirable
- Responsibility, accuracy, attentiveness, communication skills, high level of self-organization
- At least 1 year of experience in chemical/pharmaceutical production
